「「共に生きる」を考える。Think,Live Together
現代は人やモノが、より流動的になり、様々な文化や価値観が交錯し、新たな技術等も次々と生まれる時代です。好むと好まざれど、私たちが今後、それらと全く関わらずに生きることは難しいと思います。
自分の価値観と相容れないものに対して、距離を置くことは可能かもしれません。
しかし、自分たちの、すぐ近くに「何があるのか」を具体的に知ることは、無用な争いや攻撃性を抑える意味でも重要だと私たちは考えます。
様々な要素と、同じ社会で共に生きていかざるを得ないとも言える時代の中で、すぐ隣にある文化や人、価値観などを発信するためのメディアとして、「HYAKUYOU」を立ち上げました。
メディアの名前である「HYAKUYOU」は四字熟語「百人百様」から、とっています。
人それぞれ違う考え方、やり方があるという意味の四字熟語です。
違いはあれど、共に生きる人やモノ、文化を知ることが、より良い未来に繋がればと考えています。

Today, people and things are more fluid.Various cultures and values are intermingling.New technologies are being created one after another.
Whether we like it or not, it will be difficult for us to live without being involved with them.
It may be possible to keep our distance from things that are incompatible with our values.
However, we believe that knowing specifically what is "out there" in our own, nearby neighborhood is important to reduce unnecessary conflict and aggression.
In an age when we live together with various elements in the same society, we launched "HYAKUYOU" as a media to communicate the culture, people, and values that are right next to us.
The name "HYAKUYOU" is derived from the four-character idiom "Hyakunin Hyakuyo"
It is a four-character idiom meaning that each person has a different way of thinking and doing things.
We hope that knowing about the people, things, and cultures that live together, despite their differences, will lead to a better future.
